Creating Your Account

Welcome to Referr! Getting started takes just a few minutes. This guide walks you through creating your account and getting set up on the platform.

Sign Up Options

Referr offers two simple ways to create your account:

Option 1: Sign Up with Google (Recommended)

1. Click Get Started or Sign Up on the homepage
2. Select Continue with Google
3. Choose your Google account
4. You'll be automatically signed in and redirected to complete your profile

Benefits: Fastest option—your name and email are automatically filled in.

Option 2: Magic Link (Email)

1. Click Get Started or Sign Up on the homepage
2. Enter your email address
3. Click Send Magic Link
4. Check your inbox for an email from Referr
5. Click the link in the email to sign in

Note: Magic links expire after 10 minutes. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.

After Signing Up

Once you've signed in for the first time, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding process to:

1. Choose your account type – Buyer, Seller, or Both
2. Add your information – Name, location, and profession
3. Optional company details – If you represent a business

This takes about 2 minutes and helps us personalize your experience.

Tips for a Smooth Start

• Use a business email if you're signing up for professional purposes
• Choose "Both" if you're unsure whether you want to buy or sell leads—you can always change this later
• Complete your profile to build trust with other users on the platform
