About
Hello, and thank you for taking the courageous first step. My deepest belief is that counselling is for everyone and that every person deserves to live a truly fulfilled and abundant life—no matter what struggles they are currently facing. I offer a dedicated, non-judgmental space where you can be fully seen, understood, and equipped with the tools you need to make powerful, lasting change. I would love to walk with you on this journey.
My Approach: Skills, Experience, and Heart
As a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Counsellor, I focus on giving you practical, proven strategies to manage your thoughts and actions. However, your journey is unique, so I also draw on a wider range of therapeutic knowledge to create a truly bespoke experience.
Key Areas of Expertise:
Processing Grief and Loss: Navigating bereavement and other significant life transitions.
Managing Anger and Conflict: Helping you understand and manage powerful emotions and improve your relationships.
Relationship and Connection Issues: Working through conflict, poor communication, and finding healthy boundaries.
Addiction Support: Experience in supporting individuals dealing with drug abuse.
What Makes My Service Different?
My extensive experience outside of traditional counselling has uniquely prepared me to work with a broad spectrum of people and challenges:
Pastoral and Community Insight: My work as a Hospital Chaplain and School Chaplain has given me deep compassion and expertise in supporting people during times of acute crisis, spiritual questioning, and high stress.
Focus on Young People's Wellbeing: As a current Teaching Assistant for SEN children and a developer of a mental health program, I have a strong understanding of emotional and developmental challenges across all ages.
The Christian Element (If you want to be explicit): As a Christian, my faith inspires my passion for seeing every person thrive. I am open to integrating faith into the counselling process for clients who desire it, but I always maintain a non-imposing, respectful, and fully secular approach for non-Christian clients.
My Unique Commitment to You:
The Bespoke Notes
I believe the work shouldn't stop when the session ends. That's why I provide a unique, bespoke set of notes for you to take away after each session. These personal notes consolidate key takeaways, practical CBT techniques, and specific actions for the week, giving you a tangible roadmap for future reference and long-term progress.
Practical Details
Session Fee: £40per session.
Next Step: I invite you to contact me for a confidential chat to see if we are a good fit.
