Welcome! My name is Imogen and I run Velaris Counselling, a video therapy service for women in the UK aged 18 to 35. I am a fully qualified (BA Hons, DipHe) registered (MBACP), supervised, insured and GDPR-compliant counsellor. I am seeking referrals for my therapy practice, for person-centred counselling, person-centred therapy or SST (Single-Session Therapy). I believe in the power of talking therapy to deepen awareness and the potential of a positive relationship to facilitate change. In sessions, my ‘toolkit’ of knowledge allows me to draw on different techniques to help my clients; I also have specialist training in anxiety management, low self-confidence and self-esteem issues. As a counsellor, I have worked for multiple agencies and charities across the South West of England, before opening my own business to connect directly with clients.FAQ

The standard frequency is weekly.
Usually anywhere between one session to six months.
Counselling suits clients who are seeking short-term support dealing with specific issues, whilst psychotherapy suits clients who are seeking long-term, in-depth therapy.
SST is a highly directive therapy that focuses on a very specific topic, lasting between 1 and 3 sessions.
